Word Processing Operator
Chris is the Fox and Thomas word processing operator. Her role involves transcribing dictation and preparing documents for authors.
Fox and Thomas invest heavily in having up to date, accurate and legally effective documents so that we never have to “reinvent the wheel” when it comes to getting documentation right for our clients.
Chris provides a critical role in this process by allowing our lawyers to review available precedents and quickly and efficiently dictate instructions to craft that base document into a unique, bespoke product for each of our clients.
Chris’ commitment to getting our documents exactly right and her keen eye, and ear, for grammar, spelling and punctuation are widely regarded by every member of the firm who benefits from her expertise.
Chris’ in-depth knowledge of our legal documents also makes her invaluable in assisting Juanita Yabsley in precedent development.
Chris grew up in the eastern suburbs of Sydney and worked for well-known legal firms in Sydney before moving to Goondiwindi after her marriage in 1970. After moving to Goondiwindi Chris lived and worked on properties in the Goondiwindi/Yelarbon district for 30 years before taking up work with Fox and Thomas in 2002 as a word processing operator. Chris now resides in Tasmania and works remotely.
