Sixty Seconds with Melissa Hill

Why did you decide to become a lawyer?
I was intrigued by the wide range of possible career paths becoming a lawyer opened up.

If you weren’t a lawyer, what would you be?
A barista with my own little vintage coffee cart.

What brings you the most joy in your job?
Clients allowing us into their lives to help them build on their successes or to help them through a difficult period in their life.

What’s the best advice you could give your clients?
Surround yourself with trusted advisors for all areas of your business, be in regular contact with them and empower them to be in contact with each other.

What are the downfalls of being a lawyer?
Not enough hours in the day to give all clients the attention they deserve.

If you could invite three people for dinner, dead or alive who would they be and why?
Anthony Bourdain so he could prepare an amazing dinner and tell some interesting stories from his travels, Elton John so he could serenade us after dinner and Michelle Obama, boy would she have some stories to tell!
