Sixty Seconds with Christine Lea

Why did you decide to become a lawyer?
I love the challenges it brings. No two matters or clients are the same.

What brings you the most joy in your job?
Helping our clients identify their goals and achieve them – especially that final phone call to let them know we have been able to achieve their goal.

What’s the best advice you could give your clients?
Early communication with your trusted advisors is key; whether this is with your banker, accountant, or solicitor, it’s vital that everyone is on the same page to help you reach your goals.

What are the downfalls of being a lawyer?
Not enough time in the day, the 3am moments where you second guess whether you have completed something only to check the next morning and yes you have.!

If you could invite three people for dinner, dead or alive who would they be and why?
My late grandfather as he always had a gem of advice or fabulous story to share, Gordon Ramsay I’m sure would have some interesting stories to tell (and of course could cook a fabulous meal) and my favourite comedian Urzila Carlson, she makes me laugh every time.
