Georgina is a solicitor working within our commercial team on estate & succession planning, business structuring and general commercial matters.
Having grown up on a cattle property in central Queensland and spent most of her life living in regional areas, Georgina is passionate about serving the varied needs of rural communities.
Georgina’s enjoys getting to know & understand the concerns of our clients and is committed to supporting the commercial team to delivering positive outcomes for them.
Georgina moved to Goondiwindi to join Fox and Thomas in early 2024 and delights in discovering all the region has to offer in her free time.

How long have you worked at Fox and Thomas and what does your job entail? I started with Fox and Thomas in January 2024 as a law graduate supporting the commercial team.
If you weren’t at Fox and Thomas, what would you be doing? Running my own clothing label.
What’s the best advice you could give your clients? Don’t leave seeking legal advice to the last minute. What might seem like a very simple question or task, usually involves consideration of several factors and it can take time to put these puzzle pieces together.
What are the downfalls of being a lawyer? The tendency to look for what could go wrong in every situation.
What brings you the most joy in your job? The endless opportunities I get to meet fascinating people from all walks of life.
If you could invite three people for dinner, dead or alive who would they be and why? Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Carla Zampatti and Dolly Parton because I am in awe of the way they all carved their own paths in life and the remarkable legacies they will leave.
What is something that people might not know about you? That one of my hobbies is designing and making my own clothes.
